Training for a new job…90 days of it. Four weeks of classroom, four weeks of “live calls”, four weeks of live calls with limited help. Then we are on our own
The classroom period is tortuous. Like forty hours of your least favorite high school class per week for four weeks. Tedious, boring PowerPoint presentations…software exercises that don't work or are incomplete…and hours of lectures. I just can't learn that way. High school was like that and I didn't learn much in high shool.
I believe the remaining phases will be fun because it's all hands on with live calls. I will stumble along at first but will learn it quickly so I'm not worried about it. That's the way I learn best and permanently.
Unfortunately, there are Tootsie Roll Pops out the wazoo in the training room and I've eaten a lot of them because of BOREDOM.
The first ingredient is sugar…go figure! I finally resorted to drawing one instead of eating it
