Sketch Text:
My boss killed a bear. My boss field dressed the bear. My boss skinned the bear and hauled it out of the wilderness in pieces (300lbs.). My boss cut the bear up into steaks, sausage, etc. so it could be eaten. My boss eats the bear.
My boss is a G-I-R-L. Yes!…a girl! And she is married!
Imagine if you will, what her husband must think about while falling asleep at night after a spat over not taking out the garbage or vacuuming the house…
I’d bet he is a very light sleeper, uh-huh.
(f.y.i. – I do my best to stay on my boss’s good side.)

Yup he’d definitely be a cat napper . .
It reminded me of friend’s story of being on a plane to Iceland…. and he found himself alongside his fantasy – a beautiful statuesque Icelandic blonde…..delirious, he engaged her in conversation and all was going well until he found out that she gutted fish for a living . . . .
You just never know . .
LOL!
What a letdown!
Thanks for the comment Rowland
Don,

You made me laugh this morning! So funny. By degree I’m a wildlife biologist (so the skull is pretty cool to me) and used to work for U.S. Fish and Game. Men had such a hard time understanding why I did what I did. (I was living in a tent, at the time, doing field research. The older they were the more they struggled with it. LOL How was I ever going to find a husband, they would ask! Somehow I managed.
Kel
LOL!
I’m glad I gave you a laugh this morning…I like doing that!
Thanks for the comment Kel
Too funny Don…..I can just imagine these Colorado women…..wow! Hope your Christmas was bearable….LOL! Take care.
Thanks for the comment Wendy
And the pun
Colorado women are indeed multi-faceted
I see more and more women hunting. I certainly am not willing to kill an animal myself for my dinner. Anyhow, great illustration as always!
Thanks for the comment Maureen
I don’t like to work that hard for my food lol!
What you up to Don? Not seen you around these parts for a while……
Hi Rowland and thanks for thinking of me
I’ve been sick all of January and just now getting back to work consistently. The flu I reckon. Anyway, I’m feeling the embers of sketching starting to heat up which is a good thing for me. It’ll make me feel better I’m certain. So stay tuned
